Working with the great Canadian Percussionist Satnam Ramgotra

It was a real pleasure to watch Satnam play his amazing range of Percussion for our album. Your body and soul start to dance immediatley when you hear him play. He is also one of the great musicians who make sure that Hans Zimmer Film Music sounds so special. Like last time we recorded at his studio in the Hans Zimmer Studio in Santa Monica.

Unique Martin Tillmann Cello Sound

Dear friends,

As you might know by now, my producer Helge van Dyk and myself are working on the next album and it is going to be very speial and a little "wild". All the musicians that we worked with in L.A. like Martin Tillmann, Leland Sklar and Satnam Ramgotra really love the sound and enjoyed so much contributing their great music.

This picture shows us with Martin Tillmann who played the unique Cello already on our last album JEWEL.

Working with the legendary Leland Sklar in Los Angeles

I feel so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Leland Sklar in L.A. To have his Base Guitar Sound on our next album is just amazing. It was like a big meditation session watching Leland dive into our music and giving this earthy touch to the mantras that I sing on it.

Universal Music Switzerland Xmas Party 2012

Together with my team I attended the Universal Music Switzerland Xmas Party in Zurich. It was a very nice opportunity to meet many of the Swiss Top Acts that you normally only see on TV or from the magazines. I especially enjoyed meeting Ivo Sacchi, Managing Director of Universal Music who is already looking forward to our new album. Our current album "JEWEL" has sold over 9000 times in Switzerland and Universal is quite confident that we are going to get GOLD status with this album too. That would be beautiful indeed!

JEWEL at Kee Club in Hong Kong

After a fascinating week and concert in South Korea we arrived in Hong Kong on 28th October. We were all warmly welcomed by Christan Rhomberg, the found of the Kee Club Hong Kong and his great staff. We were all very impressed by the openess of the Hong Kong Chinese and their interest in Tibetan Culture. We played at Kee on 30th October and we were able to also touch the hearts of the audience here in Hong Kong. It was a great privilege for us to play there.
