Universal Music Switzerland Xmas Party 2012
Together with my team I attended the Universal Music Switzerland Xmas Party in Zurich. It was a very nice opportunity to meet many of the Swiss Top Acts that you normally only see on TV or from the magazines. I especially enjoyed meeting Ivo Sacchi, Managing Director of Universal Music who is already looking forward to our new album. Our current album "JEWEL" has sold over 9000 times in Switzerland and Universal is quite confident that we are going to get GOLD status with this album too. That would be beautiful indeed!
JEWEL at Kee Club in Hong Kong
After a fascinating week and concert in South Korea we arrived in Hong Kong on 28th October. We were all warmly welcomed by Christan Rhomberg, the found of the Kee Club Hong Kong and his great staff. We were all very impressed by the openess of the Hong Kong Chinese and their interest in Tibetan Culture. We played at Kee on 30th October and we were able to also touch the hearts of the audience here in Hong Kong. It was a great privilege for us to play there.
A great concert in South Korea
Although a few weeks have passed again already, I just wanted to inform that we experienced an amazingly beaufitul event at Hwa Eom Sa Spiritual Music Ritual in South Korea. It was so unique to play there and my musicians, most of them having played at the World's biggest Concert Halls in the past, were very impressed by the highily professional level the South Korean Organizers were managing this great event.
JEWEL Ensemble on the way to South Korea
In a couple of hours the JEWEL Ensemble is heading for the Asian Tour. We are very excited and looking forward to introducing our music to South Korea and Hong Kong.
We will keep you updated.....
The Tibetan Monks of the Swiss Rikon Monastery visit our concert
What a great honor to have the eight resident monks of the Swiss tibetan Monastery of Rikon visiting our concert in Winterthur last Monday. They were very impressed with my musicians and liked the concert very much. Their positive feedback means a lot to me.
