Filming for the Swiss National Television
One of my favourite channels on Swiss Television is called the "STERNSTUNDE" and it covers beautiful documentations on philosophy, religions and cultures. Therefore I was very excited when the moderator Mrs. Judith Hardegger of this channel and her producer of the film Christian Walther contacted me to ask me if they could do a 10 min. documentary film on my music as they are dedicating their next film on modern mystic. We spent three wonderful days for the film shooting and interviews and it will be presented on Swiss Television in September. They filmed a JEWEL concert with us in Vevey, my visit to the Tibetan Monastery in Rikon in Switzerland and my teaching Tai Chi to my students. In the Gallery you will find a few pictures to give you a nice glimpse of the film.
Meeting my Tai Chi Chuan Master Foen Tjoeng Lie
Today I had the chance again to see my Tai Chi Master Foen Tjoeng Lie. I was trained under him to become a professional Tai Chi Chuan Teacher almost 15 years ago. He is one of the best teachers I know and a very nice friendship has developped between us, as he has a great respect and appreciation for Tibet and its culture. It is always a wonderful experience to practice with him the Tai Chi Chuan.
A few great concerts ....

A TAYLORING SCHOOL FUNDED WITH BEYOND
It is a wonderful that with the proceedings of BEYOND I was able to found the DEWA CHE Foundation in order to create sustainable projects to preserve the Tibetan culture. On this trip we have founded the Tayloring School of Tehor Chokri with our monk Lobsang Dawa who is a very talented taylor. He will teach 10 young Tibetans the art of Tibetan Tayloring. We travelled together to Chengdu, where we bought 5 old Sewing machines and 2 modern ones as well as a lot of beautiful material to create the tibetan dresses, as well as the robes for monks and nuns. After the 4 months training the taylor students will be able to work in the tayloring and earn their living. We are very excited and will of course keep close contact with them and follow their progress as they grow.
