My first trip to Russia!

It has also been the year for my first visit to Russia. There is a keen interest also in Russia for our music. We visited the historic Tibetan monastery Gunsetschonei-Dazan that was built by Zar Nicolas II before the Russian revolution in 1915. During the revolution the monastery remained closed and was only restored in 1985 after His Holiness, the Dalai Lama visited Russia and inspired the Russians to reopen it. It was impressive to be in the middle of the big City of St. Petersburg and to suddenly stand in front of a beautiful big Tibetan monastery Building
